Ms. Morris commissioned me to design and build several pieces furniture. The pieces had to be both sturdy and be able to disassemble quickly. Both were made of old pine 6x6 beams from the demolition of a church. I ripped them down to 3x6 and lightly planed and sanded the weathered sides to preserve the patina of the wood. The pieces are finished with Tung oil to let the beautiful rosy pine shine through.
